His grace is all we have...

I asked God for strength that I might achieve. I was made humble that I might give him glory.
I asked God for health that I might do greater things. I was given infirmity that I might do better things.
I asked for riches that I might be happy. I was given poverty that I might be wise.
I asked for power that I might have the praise of men. I was given weakness that I might depend fully on him.
I asked for all things that I might enjoy life. I was given life that I might enjoy all things.
I got nothing that I asked for but everything I needed. I am among all people most richly blessed.

Accent huh...

What American accent do you have? (Best version so far)

Northern

You have a Northern accent. That could either be the Chicago/Detroit/Cleveland/Buffalo accent (easily recognizable) or the Western New England accent that news networks go for.

....Loyalty...

.I came to the realization the other day that I am not as much of a fan of the Bears as I am of Drew Brees and quite possibly the Chargers.  I am a huge fan of Drew and have followed the Saints as much as possible since he signed there.  His presence on that team has instantly made me a Saints fan.  However, my loyalty to the Bears has dropped considerably.  The main reason is Lovie Smith and Rex Grossman.  A year ago, Kyle Orton was replaced for Grossman and justifiably so.  Orton was playing very poorly and Grossman was supposedly the answer to this problem.  However, this year, Grossman has performed much worse than Orton for one reason.  Grossman is inconsistent and he doesn't give it his all.  With Orton, while he wasn't flashy, you were sure you knew what you were going to get (which in reality was below average at best).  But what you can always count on with Orton is that he always gave his full effort.  Grossman recently stated that because it was the last week of the season, he decided not to give it his full 100% attention.   My loyalty to the Bears still exists, but I must say, if the Saints and Bears meet, I will be cheering for Brees and the Saints.  I just can't support Lovie Smith and Grossman, when they so obviously are not committed to winning.

New Phone

So I got a new phone..  nothing special...

So I finally gave in to getting a text messaging plan, which really is a ripoff, but then again, what isn't from the cell phone carriers right?

It doesn't seem like I make/receive any more calls than I did while my phone was broken.. but, at least i can see when I miss people's calls...And its helpful to know when I have voicemail

Anyway, I watched something quite interesting, though its in German with subtitles, I do know that these 'bump keys' are quite common and are easily made

Makes it seem like those $100 locks are useless...

Hmm..

So.. I'm still without a real phone, though I try to check my voicemail every few days.

What I am excited about is the fact that the Bulls _may_ be adding Ben Wallace as well as trading Tyson Chandler for P.J. Brown and J.R. Smith.   If the Bulls are able to sign Wallace and that trade goes through, that will without a doubt put the Bulls in contention for the Eastern Conference title... Wow.. Paxon has really brought it together nicely.  We'll see what happens this year.  The NBA only finished two weeks ago, and yet, I'm already dying with anticipation for this upcoming year... I haven't been this excited about the NBA since the Jordan years... wheeeee
